Am Bàta is the exciting traditional boat building project set up in Plockton in Ross-shire in North West Scotland, to celebrate Highland 2007, the Year that Scotland Celebrates Highland culture. The project is teaching traditional boat building skills to young people at Plockton High School and to members of the community in evening classes and will run for an initial 3 years.
